Brief info

Carly Delbert Fioramanti, a Florida native, graduated from St. Petersburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. She started her nursing career at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit and later at Shands at the University of Florida. Shortly after this, Carly decided to further her education at Florida Southern College, where she received a Master of Science in Nursing in 2015.

Carly’s primary bedside nursing experience has focused on the critical care patient population. Additionally, she has also worked caring for patients in the ER and the pulmonary/procedural suites. Carly is board certified in primary care of adults and geriatrics through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). As a Registered Nurse Practitioner, she has worked at St. Anthony’s Hospital, where she managed critical care patients; as well as, patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care Unit and the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

Currently, Carly specializes in pulmonary-critical care medicine at Tampa General Hospital where her responsibilities are centered on the cardiothoracic intensive care unit and pulmonary diseases on the step-down ICU. Carly works alongside multiple disciplines and assists with the management of both acute and chronic infections. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and staying fit. Carly joined Infectious Disease Associates of Tampa Bay in 2019.
