Vivian Oduwo Ananga graduated from Jacksonville State University in Alabama with Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011. She worked as a staff nurse in the medical-surgical units at St. Vincent Medical Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama and later as a charge nurse at Healthsouth Rehabilitation hospital. She relocated to Florida and advanced her education by obtaining a master’s degree in public health from the University of South Florida, along with a graduate certificate in Infection Control. She also worked at Moffitt Cancer Center as an oncology staff nurse and shift team leader in the medical-surgical unit for 3 years before transitioning to Infection Prevention and Control at Florida Hospital for 4 years and at Moffitt Cancer Center since 2018, where she developed expertise over many years.

Vivian earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida, specializing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care/Occupational Health in 2022. She is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). In 2023, she joined Infectious Disease Associates of Tampa Bay, where she focuses on providing care to patients receiving intravenous medications and therapies at the Outpatient Infusion Center. Her special interests include infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, oncology, and occupational health.
